the world’s first self-help programme specifically for people with ph who struggle with depression or low mood is now available<\/a> from our charity. <\/p> developed with psychologists, and supported by the pha uk, this four-week programme consists of a series of workbooks based on cognitive behavioural therapy (cbt) to help change thinking habits and behaviours. <\/p> the programme has been tested with people with ph as part of a controlled study<\/a>, and 87% rated it \u2018excellent\u2019 or \u2018good\u2019.<\/p> feedback from participants included: \u201cthis intervention helped me to take control of the things which i could change and to accept what was outside my direct control. it taught me how to change my negative thoughts and reactions to adverse situations.\u201d<\/em><\/p> we\u2019ve made this programme free to anyone in the uk affected by ph, to help as many people as possible.<\/p>
