update 27th october: the group successfully completed the challenge, raising thousands of pounds along the way. upon arrival in dublin, they held a live zoom meeting, inviting patients and their loved ones to tune in to hear them discuss ph treatments and updates, and ask their own questions. the meeting was recorded by the mater hospital, and it can be viewed here. the passcode is ue^5tvv$ .
on thursday 28th september, consultants from specialist ph centres across the uk and ireland will cycle from sheffield to dublin to show support for patients and raise money for the pha uk.
the epic cycle will take three days and cover around 250 miles. the group will depart from the royal hallamshire hospital in sheffield, catch a ferry from liverpool to belfast, and then ride down to the mater hospital in dublin.
recognising that the journey with ph can be very hard for patients and their families, they want to show their support by travelling their own challenging journey and raising essential funds at the same time.

they will be joined by steve saunders, and dr neil hamilton of the royal hallamshire hospital will be following them in a van to provide essential supplies and support.
on arrival at the mater hospital, the team will get together to talk about advances in treatments in ph, and this will be broadcast on zoom so that patients and the ph community can watch and listen live, and ask questions if they wish. this will take place at 4pm on saturday 30th september, and you can access it via this link (passcode 083572).
